Miley Cyrus' Most Meaningful Tattoos Explained

The Cyrus family is known to get tattoos dedicated to one another. Like her sister, Noah Cyrus (who has quite a few tattoos of her own), Miley Cyrus has the words "Mom" and "Dad" inked on her, obviously dedicated to her loving parents (via Body Art Guru). Almost everyone in her family has a small heart tattoo on their hands, with Miley having hers on her pinky, updating it later with a galaxy inside of the heart outline (via Steal Her Style).

On her right arm is a portrait of her grandma, or "Mammie," that she got in 2013 from celebrity tattoo artist, Kat Von D. When she got the tattoo, she posted a sassy reason behind it saying, "Because I am her favorite & she is mine,"

Along with that, Cyrus has two handwritten notes tattooed on her. The first one is dedicated to her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and the tattoo consists of a handwritten note from Johnny Cash. It reads, "I'm in your corner, Johnny Cash" and she got it from a note the singer gave her when she was little. Cash is one of her and her father's musical inspirations. The second note is from none other than Yoko Ono, reading "I'm proud of u Yoko."
