In her People blog post, von Oy, who left her family for a week to film the show, got a brief glimpse of what life would be like leaving her daughter for work every day. "I know a lot of you are working parents, and I have the utmost respect for you," she wrote, noting, "It's always painful to bid farewell to your child as you head off to work."
