"Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas," the fifth Hallmark Christmas movie inspired by Blake Shelton's hit song, will premiere on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel on Nov. 26, 2022. Starring Holland Roden, Tyler Hynes, and Tenille Townes, the movie follows Elizabeth, who "receives a voicemail from a number she doesn't recognize" just days before Christmas. According to the movie's description, the message is from a man Elizabeth doesn't know as he "makes one final plea to the love of his life."
Shelton is a big fan of Hallmark holiday movies. "What I love about those movies is, you know, the storylines — they hook you in immediately," Shelton told Today in 2018. In fact, his wife, Gwen Stefani, revealed that her relationship with Blake Shelton grew while watching Hallmark movies together. "It's actually one of the first things that we bonded on," she said during a Facebook Live, per Heavy. "There's just something about these movies that gets you so, so sucked in."
